IT Unemployment Rate Jumps to 5.5%

IT Pro unemployment rate jumped from 4.6% last month 5.5% l – for the fifth month in a row it is higher than the US National Unemployment rate

Janco reports the prospects for new jobs for IT pros remain poor at best. The CEO of Janco, M. Victor Janulaitis, said, “There continues to be uncertainty in the outlook for new IT job creation. For five consecutive months, the IT Unemployment rate has been greater than the national unemployment rate. In the same five months, there was an increase in the number of unfilled jobs.”
