The Data Scientist drives initiatives to improve the monetization of enterprise's IT applications including the website and mobile experience while delivering consumer analytics efforts to better understand how users engage with the enterprise's digital products.
Data Scientists are in demand in selected areas of the U.S. The greatest demand is in major markets where there are corporate offices. The markets that are the hottest are Bay Area, East Coast, and Midwest.
Nationally the median salary is $135,000 with San Francisco (Bay Area) topping the pay scale with the highest-paid Data Scientists base compensation of over $230K.
